The unexpected is what makes music unforgettable… as an artist, doing the same ole same ole gets boring pretty quick. Peep this. Beatles legend, Paul McCartney was spotted this past Sunday on his “On The Run” South America tour jamming with Two-year-old Beatles fan.
Dailytelegraph reports that, McCartney spotted Toddler Ichiro (The two-year-old fan) clutching a replica of his iconic Hofner bass and dressed in a “Sgt. Pepper” outfit. McCartney than invited him up to help play “Get Back” as he kicked off his South American tour in Uruguay’s capital, Montevideo.
… end result, a happy kid who just had a moment that he will never forget. Leaving his father speechless saying: “Ichiro was a fan even before he was born. This was an incredible moment. No one is bigger than Paul McCartney.”
This is truly a sad story.
A 49-year-old woman went into cardiac arrest and died while she was sitting in the Mojo Stage tent about 10.30pm, just before John Fogerty was about to perform his two-hour set. Dailytelegraph reports that, Police Inspector Gary Cowan said witnesses reported seeing the woman looking ill and then slump back in her chair. She was not breathing when paramedics arrived.
The concert was delayed about 20 minutes while paramedics worked on the woman without success.
Police say the circumstances of her death were not suspicious and they were waiting for an autopsy to find out the cause of death.
Bluesfest venue manager Brendan Meek said his heart went out to the woman’s family.
