Country music icon and top-selling female singer of the 50s, Patti Page, has died. She was 85 years-old.
The news was released by Page’s publicist Schatzi Hageman who says, Page died on New Year’s Day in Encinitas, California.
For those of you country fans who knows a little of Patti Page, Page was one of the top-selling country female singer of the 1950s. She sold over 100 million records including her most enduring song “Tennessee Waltz.”
